El nuestro era grande y hermoso, as\u00ed que a\u00f1adimos tambi\u00e9n el cuello y la espalda, que ten\u00edan chicha, pero tambi\u00e9n puedes reservar esto para\u00a0hacer caldo.<\/li><li class=\"direction-step\">En un bol grande coloca el pollo troceado, salpim\u00e9ntalo y a\u00f1ade las hojas del romero (descarta la rama), el ajo rallado o picado muy fino y la c\u00e1scara de lim\u00f3n o naranja rallada.\u00a0<strong>Mezcla todo bien<\/strong>\u00a0con la mano para que se impregnen todos los trozos, cubre el bol con film y deja que repose en la nevera como m\u00ednimo dos horas y a ser posible toda la noche.<\/li><li class=\"direction-step\">Pasado el tiempo elegido, enciende el horno a 200\u00ba C. Mientras se calienta disp\u00f3n el pollo sobre dos bandeja de horno: en una las alitas, muslos y contramuslos y en otra las pechugas.\u00a0<strong>Deja el m\u00e1ximo hueco posible entre piezas<\/strong>, para poner all\u00ed los higos, cortados en mitades o cuartos. Si te gusta el picante, corta fino uno o dos pimientos, bien despepitados, y col\u00f3calos por encima del pollo y los higos. Riega todo generosamente con aceite de oliva e introduce sendas bandejas en el horno.<\/li><li class=\"direction-step\">Para que se cocina correctamente lo ideal es dejar la bandeja de pechugas durante entre 25 y 30 minutos y la del resto de piezas entre 30 y 40.\u00a0<strong>Puede que necesites algo m\u00e1s de tiempo si el pollo es de corral.<\/strong>\u00a0Si tu horno no es muy moderno, a los 15 minutos de cocci\u00f3n gira las bandejas para que se cocinen por ambos lados. En cualquier caso, el pollo estar\u00e1 listo en cuando la piel est\u00e9 bien dorada.
